Improved Shopping Experience
Problem:
This take on a Saarinen Table was split out
by attributes,
shape of the top
and
the base material.
Within each of those pages, the
size and
top material were provided as options.
Because of this, when you were on a single
product page it was unclear what the complete set of
options for base material and top shape were.
This created a clunky and confusing shop path as well. Screenshot shows 6 of the 8 product pages, 4 base options x 2 top shapes.
Resolve:
Identifying the issue, I designed a page that displayed all of the attributes in one place. Combining the size and shape attributes and housing the top and bottom material options below, the result was one product page where a customer was able to view all of the attributes available, clearly and efficiently.
